Birth Certificate Correction of Gender

I just found out last year the gender of my birth certificate was MALE.. It's been a long time I keep my birth certificate not knowing the input of my gender was male. I feel like I was so unfortunate person, because this case is not really common, only few, and I am of the few. I was really sad when I found out, I know this case will take 6months to fix and quite expensive for the process for correction.
